The No. 16 Women's Volleyball team (12-4, 4-2 Big Ten) electrified a record-setting crowd of 7,303 fans at Galen Center on Sunday, with a thrilling five-set victory over crosstown rival UCLA to claim the first edition of The Battle of LA this season.

Key Performers

• Graduate OH Ally Batenhorst led the charge with her fifth double-double of the season, notching 13 kills and 11 digs.

• Senior setter Mia Tuaniga orchestrated the offense with 40 assists and contributed across the board with 5 kills, 6 digs and 4 blocks.

• Redshirt freshman MB Leah Ford had a breakout performance, setting career highs with 10 kills and a match-leading 7 blocks.

The Trojans now embark on their longest road trip of the season, facing Maryland on Oct. 18, and Rutgers on Oct. 20. Both matches will be streamed live on Big Ten Plus (B1G+).
