The Trojan defensive duo of Easton Mascarenas-Arnold and Akili Arnold are no strangers to the lore of USC. Having grown up in Southern California, the duo knew when they entered the transfer portal after last season that they wanted to share their final chapter of college football together.

Though not technically related, Akili and Easton officially became brothers when Akili’s dad and Easton’s mom got married while the kids were in middle school. Having been friends for years through football before that, it only added to the bond that their blended family shared.

House of Victory sat down with them to hear more about their unconventional brotherhood, the power of family and what their goals are on and beyond the gridiron.

Women’s Basketball has leveled up following last year’s Elite 8 run, pairing all-world phenom JuJu Watkins with the nation’s top transfer in Kiki Iriafen. On the Men’s side, the Muss Buss has rolled into town with a team of fresh faces ready to make an impact.

USC Football student-athletes recently hosted nearly 40 elementary school children from the local Boys & Girls Club Challengers Clubhouse, thanks to an NIL engagement with House of Victory. The young visitors toured the football facilities, including Heritage Hall, weight room and team meeting rooms and participated in a Q&A session with our Trojans.

Karen Quiroz, Director of Athletics and Health at the Challengers Clubhouse, emphasized the impact: "Seeing the practice field and fully equipped fitness gym was eye-opening, as these resources are not available at every school."

Senior linebacker Eric Gentry added, "It's good for kids to experience what college can be like at one of the best universities."
