Swinging Into Summer With House of Victory

The athletic year is winding down, but USC is still the PLACE TO BE

WHAT FOOTBALL MEANS TO ME

“What does football mean to me? It’s almost everything. I don’t want to say it’s everything, because it’s not everything, but it’s close to everything.

It’s what I’ve been doing my entire life.

It’s what I watched on TV growing up, and I imagined myself being there one day.

I could say that football is joy and happiness but that would barely be explaining it. It’s a feeling that’s almost inexplicable. I wouldn’t even be able to imagine a life without football.”

Junior defensive lineman Braylan Shelby shared his perspective on what football means to him in his own words. From a young boy, just following in the footsteps of his dad and his brother to now, doing everything he can each and every day to improve his craft and take the next step to the NFL, he hasn’t forgotten the way the game is supposed to be played.

NOW THAT’S REFRESHING

USC IS THE PLACE TO BE

Spring sports are wrapping up postseason play, we’re just under 100 days until we kick off the 2025 Football season in the Coliseum, but USC is still THE PLACE TO BE. Football continues to lock in the No. 1 recruiting class for 2026 and is prepping for Summer Workouts ahead of the fall. Men’s and Women’s Basketball are finalizing their rosters and beginning to get ready for the upcoming season. Baseball prepares for their first postseason appearance in 10 years, and the momentum continues to build.

Even though most of the work is happening behind the scenes, there’s never a dull moment at USC. Help us continue to build, continue to push and continue to make the necessary moves to compete for National Championships.

Pick the sport of your choice and contribute today. Your support helps continue to make USC the THE PLACE TO BE.
