FITNESS IS FOR EVERYONE

When we say fitness is for everyone, THIS is what we mean! House of Victory collaborated with Angel City Sports to host USC Men’s Basketball athletes at one of their recent Adaptive Functional Fitness classes.

This class is uniquely designed to help individuals with physical disabilities maintain or improve their independence, succeed at everyday tasks and feel more comfortable and confident. This class was structured in a team relay format, meaning all the class participants and Trojans were divided into two teams, to battle against each other in a variety of fitness challenges.

“The Men’s Basketball student-athletes were engaged and connected with our adaptive athletes, encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves,” said Angel City Sports Adaptive Function Fitness Instructor Anna Stern.

“It opens up my heart and my mind, and seeing them push through makes me want to push through,” said swing player Chad Baker-Mazara. “Being able to come here and help them workout was an amazing experience.”

A PARTNERSHIP BUILT ON TRUST

FEEDING FAMILIES IN NEED

During their recent bye week, Football athletes stopped by Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to lend a helping hand to the local community. On site were defensive linemen Jide Abasiri and Kameryn Crawford, offensive linemen Hayden Treter, Justin Tauanuu and Elijah Vaikona and defensive back Dee Reddick.

During their shift, these athletes brought the energy and efficiency, helping to sort and pack more than 19,000 pounds of fresh produce that will go directly to local families in need of additional support. Click here or on the photo above to see more from this fun day of service!
